What is Velocity Content, and who is it for?

  • Velocity Content is a monthly content partnership for automotive dealerships, brands, and motoring events that need a consistent stream of professional photography and video — without the cost or hassle of building an in-house content team. If your business depends on visibility to sell vehicles, we build the content that keeps you in front of buyers, month after month.


How do we get started?

What kind of businesses do you typically work with?

  • We work exclusively within the automotive industry — partnering with dealerships, manufacturers, and organizations across the sector. Our focus is on deepening these relationships and expanding our footprint within automotive specifically.


Do you work with businesses outside South Africa?

  • Not currently. Our focus is on growing within the South African automotive industry, though this may expand in future.

Packages & Pricing

What's the difference between Essential, Growth, and Premium?

  • Each package is built around how visible you need to be. Essential keeps a consistent presence going with monthly content. Growth adds enough volume to actively build engagement and audience. Premium gives you a full pipeline of content to fuel marketing, retargeting, and promotions across every platform. See our Packages section for a full breakdown.


Why are the introductory prices lower for the first six months?

  • The rates shown are introductory and apply for your first six months. From month 7 onward, your package reverts to our standard monthly rate. Your contract doesn't expire after six months — it simply continues on a month-to-month basis at the standard rate, until either party gives notice.


Is there a minimum contract length?

  • Yes, our packages run on a minimum 6-month term, after which they continue month-to-month until cancelled.


Can I change packages later?

  • Yes. Packages can be upgraded or downgraded as needed. Changes take effect from the following month, and require 10 working days' notice.


What happens if I want to cancel?

  • We require 30 days' (one month's) written notice to cancel. A cancellation fee of 25% of the value of the remaining contract months applies.


Is there an option for once-off or project-based work, outside the monthly packages?

  • Independent projects and once-off events fall outside our standard packages. We'll set up a short consultation to understand your requirements and provide a tailored quote.


What if I need more content than my package covers in a given month?

  • Additional content can be arranged at an extra fee, based on your specific requirements.

Content Ownership & Usage

Who owns the photos and videos once they're delivered?

  • Velocity Content retains copyright ownership of all photos and videos we produce, as set out in our Terms & Conditions and your service agreement. Clients are granted usage rights as described below.


Can Velocity Content use footage from our shoots in your own portfolio or marketing?

  • Yes, Velocity Content retains the right to use any content produced for our own marketing and promotional purposes (including our portfolio, social media, and website), unless otherwise agreed in writing with the client.


Can I use the content across my own platforms (social media, internal use, etc.?)

  • Yes. Clients may use delivered content for their own social media and internal purposes. Content may not be sold, licensed, or provided to third-party vendors for external use without Velocity Content's prior written consent. Breach of this term may result in liability for breach of contract.

Process & Delivery

How long does it take to receive content after a shoot?

  • Content is delivered within 10 working days of the shoot.


How many shoots happen per month?

  • We typically capture a full month's content in a single shoot day. Shoot days may need to be rescheduled due to weather or unforeseen circumstances.


Do you shoot on location, or do we come to you?

  • We come to you, all shoots take place on location at your dealership or event.


What does a typical month look like once we've signed on?

  • Each month, we agree on a shoot day in advance (typically a weekend). Content capture happens on that day, followed by a 10-working-day edit and review period, with delivery no later than day 10.
